Substack: build the industry authority AI rewards

Substack: build the industry authority AI rewards

A long game that pays off in citations

A consistent Substack positions you as an industry voice, not just a vendor. Over time those posts become indexed, shared, and quoted — an authority signal AI engines pick up when they answer questions about your space. It's slower than a blog post, and more durable.

What to publish

  • Posts every second day or so — a clear point of view on your industry, backed by specifics. Authority, not announcements.
  • A newsletter roughly once a month — a rounded-up, higher-effort piece that gives subscribers a reason to stay.
  • Link your Substack from your site so the authority flows back to your brand.

You'll need to create and connect a Substack — that part is yours. Once it exists, the cadence is what compounds.

Why it builds reputation, not just GEO

A genuine publication earns trust that no ad can: real readers, real subscribers, a real point of view. That trust is exactly what makes both buyers and engines confident enough to cite you.

How Rankply helps

Substack isn't part of the monthly account-manager service — a publication only builds authority if it's genuinely yours. What carries over: the articles we publish on your site each month are researched, sourced pieces you can build newsletter issues from, and your monthly report shows whether newsletters are among the sources AI engines cite in your category.
