Connect Strapi to Rankply

Push entries to your self-hosted Strapi v4/v5. Follow the steps below — most customers finish in 3 minutes.

How to connect Strapi

Self-hosted Strapi v4 or v5. Strapi Cloud also works — same steps.

3 minSome clicks
  1. Sign in to your Strapi admin (e.g. yoursite.com/admin).

  2. In the left sidebar, click Settings → Global Settings → API Tokens.

  3. Click Create new API Token (top right).

  4. Name it Rankply. Token type: Full access. Token duration: Unlimited.

If your security policy forbids unlimited tokens, pick a long duration (1 year) and rotate before it expires.

  5. Click Save → copy the token shown.

  6. Paste the token + the public URL of your Strapi instance (https://yourstrapi.com) into Rankply.

If it doesn’t work

  • Your Strapi instance must be reachable from the public internet so we can hit its API. If it's only on a local network or behind basic auth, the connection test will fail.
  • If you want to scope the token more tightly than Full Access, give it create + update + publish permissions on the Article (or your Blog) content type.
What happens next: Entries land as drafts in your Strapi Content Manager.

What Rankply does once connected

Monthly draft

Every billing cycle our writers produce one or more blog posts and push them as drafts to your Strapi.

You review

The post lands in your CMS with title, body, cover image, and tags. You read it, tweak if needed, and click Publish.

We track AI lift

Once live, we monitor how often AI engines start citing it in your industry — measurable progress, not just published count.
