Connect Shopify to Rankply

Push articles to your Shopify shop's blog via a custom app. Follow the steps below — most customers finish in 5 minutes.

Any Shopify plan with the Blog feature (Basic Shopify and above).

Sign in to your Shopify admin (yourstore.myshopify.com/admin).
Click Settings (gear icon, bottom-left) → Apps and sales channels.
Click Develop apps (top right).
If you see "Enable custom app development" first, click that and confirm — you only need to do this once per store.
Click Create an app → name it Rankply → Create app.
Open the Configuration tab → Configure under Admin API integration.
Tick the scopes write_content and read_content (this lets us create blog posts).
You can use the search box — type 'content' to find them quickly.
Click Save at the top.
Open the API credentials tab → Install app → confirm the install.
Copy the Admin API access token shown once after install — it starts with shpat_.
Shopify only shows this token once. If you miss it, click Reveal token once.
Paste your store domain (yourstore.myshopify.com) + that token into Rankply.

If it doesn’t work

Custom apps do NOT require a Shopify Partners account — they install in your own store only.
The token must start with shpat_. If it starts with shpss_ or shpca_ it's the wrong type — re-install.

What happens next: Posts land under Online Store → Blog posts in Shopify, in Hidden state until you click Visible.
