Connect Sanity to Rankply
Create documents in your Sanity dataset. Follow the steps below — it takes about 4 minutes.
How to connect Sanity
Any Sanity project with a public-write or admin token. Works on Free plan.
Open in a new tab.https://sanity.io/manage
Pick the project you want Rankply to publish to.
Click API → Tokens → Add API token.
Name it Rankply, choose Editor permission (allows write but not destructive admin), then Save.
Copy the token shown (you only see it once).
On the same page, copy the Project ID (top of the project page, e.g. 4j2k7l).
Note the dataset name (usually production). Find it under API → Datasets if unsure.
Paste the Project ID + Dataset + Token into Rankply.
If it doesn’t work
- Avoid using the Viewer token — it can read but not create documents. Editor is the minimum.
What Rankply does once connected
Articles every month
Every month your account manager writes 4 articles aimed at the prompts you're losing — drafted with AI, written up and fact-checked by a person — and sends them to you before anything reaches Sanity.
You approve, we publish
You read each article and approve it or ask for changes. Then we publish it on your Sanity site with title, body, cover image and tags — or leave it as a draft if you'd rather press Publish yourself.
We track what AI engines cite
Every month we re-run the same prompts on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, so you can see whether AI engines start naming you — with the raw answers as proof.
