Connect Sanity to Rankply

Create documents in your Sanity dataset. Follow the steps below — most customers finish in 4 minutes.

Open in a new tab.https://sanity.io/manage
Pick the project you want Rankply to publish to.
Click API → Tokens → Add API token.
Name it Rankply, choose Editor permission (allows write but not destructive admin), then Save.
Copy the token shown (you only see it once).
On the same page, copy the Project ID (top of the project page, e.g. 4j2k7l).
Note the dataset name (usually production). Find it under API → Datasets if unsure.
Paste the Project ID + Dataset + Token into Rankply.

If it doesn’t work

Avoid using the Viewer token — it can read but not create documents. Editor is the minimum.

What happens next: New documents land in your dataset with a "draft." prefix on the ID, so they show up in Sanity Studio under Drafts.
