Connect Notion to Rankply

Create pages in a Notion database via an Internal Integration. Follow the steps below — most customers finish in 5 minutes.

How to connect Notion

Any Notion workspace. Free personal accounts are fine — no paid plan required.

5 minSome clicks
  1. Click New integration.

  2. Name it Rankply → choose the workspace where your blog database lives → Submit.

  3. Copy the Internal Integration Secret shown (starts with secret_).

  4. Now connect the integration to your database. Open your Notion blog database, click the … menu (top-right) → Connections → choose Rankply.

  5. Find the Database ID: with the database open, copy the URL. The Database ID is the 32-character string just before the ? — e.g. notion.so/yourname/abc123def456...?v=... → the bold part.

  6. Paste the integration token + Database ID into Rankply.

If it doesn’t work

  • If posts fail with 'object_not_found', it means you forgot Step 5 — the integration must be explicitly shared with the database, even though the token was created in the same workspace.
  • Use an Internal Integration (private to your workspace), not a Public Integration — Public Integrations require Notion to review and approve your app.
What happens next: Posts arrive as new pages in your Notion database, with title + body + tags populated. Edit them in Notion as you would any other page.

What Rankply does once connected

Monthly draft

Every billing cycle our writers produce one or more blog posts and push them as drafts to your Notion.

You review

The post lands in your CMS with title, body, cover image, and tags. You read it, tweak if needed, and click Publish.

We track AI lift

Once live, we monitor how often AI engines start citing it in your industry — measurable progress, not just published count.
