Connect Joomla to Rankply

Publish to a Joomla 4+ site via the Web Services API. Follow the steps below — most customers finish in 5 minutes.

Joomla 4.0 or newer (Web Services API is core since 4.0).

Sign in to your Joomla admin (e.g. yoursite.com/administrator).
Go to Users → Manage → click your user (or add a new one for Rankply).
Open the Joomla API Token tab → click the eye icon to reveal the token, then Reset if you want a fresh one.
Make sure the user belongs to a group with permission to create articles (Author group or higher).
Copy the token shown.
Paste your site URL + the token into Rankply.

If it doesn’t work

If the test returns 404, your install is older than 4.0 — the Web Services API doesn't exist in Joomla 3.
If the test returns 401, the Joomla user account doesn't have permission to create articles. Move them to the Author or Editor group.

What happens next: Articles land as Unpublished in Content → Articles, ready for you to publish.
