Connect HubSpot to Rankply
Publish to HubSpot Blog via a Private App access token. Follow the steps below — most customers finish in 4 minutes.
How to connect HubSpot
Any HubSpot account with Marketing Hub Starter or above (required for Blog).
Sign in to your HubSpot account.
Click the Settings gear (top-right) → in the left sidebar, scroll to Integrations → Private Apps.
Click Create a private app (top right).
On the Basic Info tab, name the app Rankply.
Open the Scopes tab → CMS → tick content (this includes blog read/write).
If you don't see CMS, look for Content → and tick content. The name varies slightly by HubSpot tier.
Click Create app (top-right) → confirm. HubSpot shows you the access token.
Copy the token (long string starting with pat-).
Paste it into Rankply.
If it doesn’t work
- Private Apps are NOT the same as HubSpot Marketplace apps — you don't need a Marketplace listing or a developer account. Private Apps live entirely inside your own portal.
- The Free HubSpot CRM doesn't include the Blog tool. You'll need at least Marketing Hub Starter to publish posts via the API.
What Rankply does once connected
Monthly draft
Every billing cycle our writers produce one or more blog posts and push them as drafts to your HubSpot.
You review
The post lands in your CMS with title, body, cover image, and tags. You read it, tweak if needed, and click Publish.
We track AI lift
Once live, we monitor how often AI engines start citing it in your industry — measurable progress, not just published count.
